The Rev. Jann Halloran is Prairie's first minister and has been with the church since August, 1999, when the church began receiving the Unitarian Universalist Association's New Congregation grant. She received her master's of divinity degree from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver in 1999. She is currently the chair of the Colorado Council of Church's Justice Commission; chair of Eco-Justice Ministries and on the board and secretary of Colorado's chapter of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. Originally from Texas, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980 and was a journalist for eight years.
