Awakening the Dreamer
Join the Prairie UU congregation, plus Social Justice and Green Team members from other Front Range UU churches, to explore a new global vision built on Sustainability, Spiritual Fulfillment and Social Justice.
Attend the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium and come together with conscious, aware people who care about what’s happening in the world, our community and with our families. We’ll look at our biggest challenges and opportunities today:
• The state of our industrial world and the thinking that got us where we are today
• A new dream—new ideas about what really matters— leading to deep connection and surprising solutions
• How you can be part of what’s emerging—because you already are!

The UU Peacemaking Congregational Study Action Issue
As Unitarian Universalists, we have the opportunity to take action on issues that are important to us individually and as a religion. There are many opportunities for involvement—locally, nationally and internationally.
One opportunity that occurs at a national level is the Congregational Study Action Issue (CSAI). Each year at the General Assembly our association votes on an important issue to study and take action on. After an issue is chosen, the Commission on Social Witness (CSW) undergoes years of study, research and practice. The CSW then drafts a Statement of Conscience (SOC), receives comments and suggestions from congregations, and then a vote is taken on whether to place the Statement of Conscience on the Final Agenda at the next GA to be further revised and voted upon.
